Leading tax recovery and compliance engagements, Mitchel has served clients in a wide array of industries such as retail, distribution, transportation, food, manufacturing, telecommunication, construction and software.
Formerly a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen/Deloitte & Touche, Mitchel has over 18 years of experience in the indirect tax field that includes customs, the Canadian Goods and Services Tax and provincial sales taxes. Mitchel has also held senior management positions in customs and international trade, where he developed customs due diligence procedures and documentation requirements.
