Alnasir is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years of experience both in public and private practice. Formerly a Sales Tax Auditor and Manager with the Ontario Ministry of Finance, he has extensive experience and legislative expertise that helps him maximize sales tax recoveries for clients.

In a subsequent role as Senior Audit Manager with the Ministry of Finance, Alnasir was responsible for all financial institution audits, and enhanced the development of audit procedures and documentation requirements.

More recently, Alnasir served as a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen/Deloitte & Touche, where he was responsible for leading sales tax recovery engagements, performing compliance reviews, and negotiating with Ministry officials to resolve retail sales tax audit and refund issues.

Alnasir has completed the CICA In-depth Tax Course (Parts I, II and III), and the In-depth GST Course - Part I.
